Saints
About This Spot
Stepping into Saints along South Main Street in St. Martinville feels like slipping into a warmly familiar embrace. The restaurant carries an old-school charm, where time slows just enough to savor genuine connections and heartening comfort food. Its cozy, unpretentious space hums softly with local warmth — small tables adorned with oilcloth covers, an inviting clutter of meaningful knickknacks, and the kind of music that drifts quietly in the background, stitching together the moments.
Saints isn’t just about a meal; it’s about the rhythm of a community gathering place. The pace here is unhurried and friendly, where the owners greet you like longtime neighbors and the atmosphere invites relaxed conversation. It’s clear this is a place where families feel at home, children’s laughter is naturally welcomed, and everyone finds their own little corner to settle into.
The food at Saints is an extension of this warm, welcoming spirit. Breakfast arrives not just as a plate of eggs or grits but as a carefully crafted experience — think hearty morning offerings that comfort with just the right touch of spice or smoky goodness. Whether it’s the satisfying sizzle of pork chops paired with grits or the generous portion of a classic omelet, each dish gestures to the classic Southern roots with a personal, home-cooked feeling that’s simple yet deeply fulfilling.
This is the sort of spot where affordability and quality meet without fuss, and where attentive, familiar faces ensure you leave feeling more like a guest than a customer. Saints exemplifies a timeless kind of hospitality, the kind you remember — marked by shared stories, family-centered events, and a sincere sense of belonging that few places manage to hold onto in today’s fast pace.

I love the food here, especially the breakfast if you're ever there try the spicy pork chop it's awesome.! The food is not expensive! The owners are great, friendly faces! And they love kids, I remember one time after ordering my food they invited my kids to a Halloween party that was given by them, my kids went and had so much fun! They are really great people!

Came here on our Airbnb hosts recommendation and was not disappointed. The pricing was incredibly affordable but the food was so mouthwateringly good! The gentleman that helped us was so kind and very attentive as well as a phenomenal chef. Absolutely recommend!

Ms Michelle and her family run a great business! Always smiling and greeting customers like family. Their breakfast food is amazing and I will also be trying the lunch items soon! You definitely get your money's worth for the fill of food you receive. I will be back with more food and pictures to showcase (;

We have been searching for a good breakfast place since our beloved Victor's in New Iberia closed it's doors. We have been disappointed by the other places nearby. Today we chose to go to Saint's in St Martinville and we were not disappointed this time. We were greeted as we entered by Corey , one of the owners. The decor is old school with lots of clutter and oil cloth table covers. The music was old school soul music. I asked for a recommendation. Breakfast plate was my choice included: grits, bacon, 2 over easy eggs, toast and jelly with a side of homemade hashbrowns and coffee. My husband chose a Western omelet, hashbrowns, and orange juice. The food was made to order. It came out fresh and piping hot. I have never had grits with the yolk of eggs mixed in. Now it is my favorite. Everything was delicious. Michelle checked on us regularly to be sure we had everything we needed. My only wish is that they had plates, cups, and metal utensils instead of Styrofoam. The grits were some of the best I have ever had. We will definitely return for breakfast and to try other meals. Thank you! Saints of St Martinville!

5 stars are not enough!!! Came in for breakfast, suggested by our Airbnb & let me tell you...absolutely the best I've ever had, & SUCH a great portion for the price!! We went for the Baller Breakfast & it had just about everything they offer, for literally only 6.50!! Delicious french toast & grits. Friendly, family service, nice chill atmosphere..would come back to St Martinville JUST to come here to eat.

Not enough superlatives to describe the breakfast here. Just terrific! My girlfriend and I were in from Houston,driving around Acadiana, and found good reviews for this place online. A short 10-minute drive later, we were pleased to find that the reviews and the food did not disappoint. Try the hot sausage patty with your breakfast. Highly recommended.

My husband, 2 friends and I were in the area for the terrific Cycle Zydeco. One morning, we all had terrific breakfasts at the Saints restaurant. There was plenty of good homemade food. Ms. Michelle is an excellent cook and made delicious pancakes with a unique flavor. The bill for 4 full breakfasts including an extra order of pancakes was $19 plus tip. I would recommend this restaurant.
